About the Role

The Deposit Box Custodian plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to Safe Deposit customers and visitors. As a key member of the Selfridges team, you will be responsible for ensuring a secure and discreet environment, while delivering a personalized experience that exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle safe deposit box visits with professionalism and discretion.
  • Open new Safe Deposit Box contracts and maintain existing ones, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Oversee safe deposit box contract queries and reset procedures, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Evaluate customer needs and act accordingly, escalating concerns to management when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to offer exceptional service, using spontaneity to create memorable experiences.
  • Immerse in Selfridges Communities and Networks, embodying the company's values daily.
  • Assist with the training and induction of new team members, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Stay aware of additional services offered and proactively suggest them to customers when relevant.
  • Adhere to strict compliance policies and procedures, minimizing risk to customers and the business.

About You

  • You possess a good understanding of the Safe Deposit process and are knowledgeable about competitors' policies and services.
  • You have strong customer service skills, prioritizing customer needs and building trust and loyalty.
  • You are a proactive team member, collaborating with colleagues and building relationships quickly.
  • You are an effective communicator, able to clearly interact with customers, team members, and managers.
  • You are pacey, positive, and flexible, responsive to business needs and willing to take responsibility for your tasks.
  • You are committed to Selfridges, adopting the company's vision and values and being proud of the Selfridges environment.
