About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our team in the Aseptic Production Unit within the Pharmacy Department at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as the authorized pharmacist in the Aseptic Production Unit, dispensing high-quality systemic anticancer therapy items and parenteral nutrition to adults and neonatal patients.
  • Participate in the Scottish national aseptic audit programme and contribute to the development of the ADU service.
  • Collaborate with the oncology/haematology pharmacists and dieticians to provide excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement projects to improve the ADU service and contribute to change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • GPhC registered pharmacist with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in project management and change management is desirable.
