Job Title: QA Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Technician to join our team at Pearson Whiffin - Manufacturing, Engineering & Technical. As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing regular quality checks, calibrating equipment, and conducting raw material testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Ensure the correct calibration of equipment such as weight checkers, metals detectors, and more.
  • Carry out checks on labels and date coding for finished products.
  • Conduct raw material testing.
  • Complete thorough quality checks throughout every step of the process.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in the food industry, working in a quality role.
  • The full right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship now, or in the future.
  • A Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Flexible with working hours to be able to cover other shifts when needed.
  • Numerate and literate with basic IT skills.
