The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the courier or cargo freight industry, with a proven track record of success in account management. They will be able to communicate effectively with clients, address concerns, and resolve conflicts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong client base of 125+ courier accounts, building and maintaining B2B relationships.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Raise client business concerns and needs to company management.
- Negotiate and close business contracts with existing and new clients.
- Deliver sales pitches to prospective clients.
- Prepare and present business and account updates to company management and clients.
- Monitor client budgets and explain costs or expenditures, discussing new terms as necessary.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with courier services provided.
- Visit clients regularly to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Deal with customer queries and courier job issues.
- Work with CRM to ensure each customer has relevant up-to-date information.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the courier or cargo freight industry.
- Proven track record of success in account management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
