  16. Scripting and Tools: Develop and maintain database scripts and tools, including automation scripts.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA is required.
  2. Database Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with database tools and technologies, including DMS, DMA, and schema conversion.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills are required to troubleshoot database issues.
  4. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to work with development and operations teams.
  5. Database Automation: Experience with database automation is an added advantage, including Liquibase, Flyway, and cron job.
  6. Cloud Experience: Experience in GCP is an added advantage, along with On-Prem tools such as repmgr, pgbouncer, and pgbackrest.
  7. Staying Up-to-Date: The ability to stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends is essential.
