HR Data Analyst Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled HR Data Analyst to join our team at ECF Data, LLC. As a key member of our HR Data and Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in dissecting HR data to provide insights into patterns and trends, and identify issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of HR data to produce data-driven, insightful reports in Tableau & Power BI to enable strategic & operational HR & business decisions.
  • Establishing the first HR Data Lake, ensuring its scalability and effectiveness in handling large sets of diverse HR data.
  • Manipulating and integrating data from diverse sources, focusing on automating these processes where feasible.
  • Leading and managing special projects, aligning them with HR objectives and ensuring they deliver value.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager, HR Data and Analytics, with data analysis in all areas of core HR data and offering recommendations/solutions.
  • Supporting the HR Leadership and broader HR Team by delivering ad hoc reporting, analysis & insight.
  • Actively contributing to delivering, maintaining, and improving HR services, procedures and processes to increase employee satisfaction, driving performance and achieving results.
  • Expanding the HR reporting and analytics capabilities, adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Maintaining high-quality process documentation relating to data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI and SQL.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Familiarity: Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, and other Power platform products.
  • Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques (ETL).
  • Experience in data analysis and data management.
  • Deep understanding and curiosity of HR data and people analytics.
  • Having a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to question and troubleshoot data.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI and SQL.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Familiarity: Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, and other Power platform products.
  • Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques (ETL).
  • Experience in data analysis and data management.
  • Deep understanding and curiosity of HR data and people analytics.
  • Having a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to question and troubleshoot data.
