Security Officer

OCS Group is seeking a skilled security officer to join our team at a prestigious scientific research institute in Hinxton, Cambridgeshire. As a security officer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to campus clients and visitors, while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities- High-level control room monitoring of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Site entry, car park barrier control, and traffic management.
- Accurate report writing using computer-based software.
- SIA Licence (manned guarding or door supervisor) essential and CCTV Licence desirable.
- Previous security experience (minimum 3 years) would be highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Physically capable of undertaking foot patrols totaling 15,000 steps per shift.
- Full uniform and PPE provided.
