The organization seeks a skilled and dynamic professional to take on the role of Finance and Administration Manager, initially reporting to the Finance Director. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the potential to eventually report directly to the Managing Director and the Board, contributing to the formulation of the Company's strategy and ensuring compliance with it.
Qualified accountants with a background in construction contract accounting and systems are encouraged to apply. Alternatively, candidates with significant relevant experience will also be considered. Strong communication skills are crucial for this role.

This position offers a pathway for personal and professional advancement, along with the chance to join a respected team in the housebuilding sector, becoming the primary contact for all financial matters within the Company.

Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing cash flows and the overall financial position.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounting reports and forecasts.
- Collaborating with the Company's auditors to prepare year-end financial statements and corporate tax returns.
- Addressing the needs of Project and Site Management and Quantity Surveyors, including reviewing contract costs and outcomes.
- Managing all aspects of taxation.
- Overseeing and enhancing the Company's IT systems.
- Leading the Company's HR function, including training initiatives.
- Supervising and developing a team of four in the accounts and administration office.
- Coordinating the Company's insurance arrangements in partnership with Insurance Brokers.
- Managing the Company's vehicle fleet.
- Serving as the primary contact for auditors, bankers, insurance brokers, equipment finance providers, IT systems providers, and other stakeholders.
