Chief Financial Officer - Strategic Growth Leader

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a successful SaaS organisation on the South Coast to find a new CFO to join their Executive Board and drive business growth. As a key member of the Operational Board, you will be instrumental in extending the customer portfolio and scenario planning for new product launches. If you have a background in Software as a Service and a history of completing successful transactions, please read on for further information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small finance team and develop members to grow capacity and efficiency.
  • Provide financial analysis to support growth and improve business performance.
  • Offer strategic support for future lending and investment opportunities.
  • Contribute to complex Board structures, including shareholders and private equity investors.
  • Develop a robust cash management policy to facilitate growth.
  • Act as a key figurehead for the business during transactions.
  • Support the CEO and Leadership Team in commercial decision making.
  • Manage relationships with external bodies, including Auditors and Banks.
  • Oversee financial regulatory matters and provide support with regulatory reviews.
Suitable Candidate:
  • Fully qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' PQE.
  • Experience of full financial leadership and evidence of developing others.
  • Strong commercial acumen and appetite to improve processes.
  • Previous engagement with third-party funders and Private Equity experience.
  • Background in Software as a Service, ICT, IT, or B2B industries.
