Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of an effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and leadership to operational management and employees on HSE matters, promoting a safety-first culture and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety tours, inspections, accident investigations, and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) related to safety, health, and environment.
- Manage the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure all staff receive proper safety induction training, promoting a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.
- Coordinate site-specific and group Health and Safety Committees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- A strong background in health, safety, and environmental management within a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a proven track record of implementing effective HSE strategies and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to challenge unsafe behaviors and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification or equivalent, demonstrating a high level of expertise in HSE matters.
