About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Progress Coach to join our team at Study Group. As a key member of our International Study Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their academic goals and succeed in their studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to international students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with students, staff, and external partners to identify and address student needs, ensuring a seamless student experience.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student engagement, attendance, and academic success.
  • Collaborate with the Progression & Transition Manager to ensure students receive timely and relevant support, enabling them to progress to their chosen degree course.
  • Support the Student Experience & Transition Officer in organizing events, activities, and projects that promote student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support student success and welfare.
About You

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual who shares our commitment to student success. You will have:

  • Experience of working with international students, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of data management systems and the ability to analyze data to inform student support strategies.
