Customer Relations Specialist

Salary: From £25,000

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Flexible Working Hours: Options available from 8am to 6pm

Location: Edinburgh

Role Overview:
  • Conveniently located in Edinburgh City Centre, accessible via public transport with nearby parking options.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts, ensuring a balance between work and personal life.
  • Flexible hours are available to accommodate your schedule and promote well-being.
  • Starting salary for this position is £25,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will represent a major UK bank by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints through both phone and written communication. We take pride in delivering exceptional service, ensuring that our customers feel heard and treated with fairness. Transforming negative experiences into positive outcomes is central to this position.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven customer service experience is essential, with complaint handling experience in the life and pensions sector being a plus.
  • Team Collaboration - We believe that a successful team consists of individuals who are dedicated to helping others and providing outstanding service collectively.
  • Strong listening and communication skills are crucial. You should be able to convey complex information in a clear and supportive manner.
  • Ability to quickly identify customer needs and focus on resolving issues and inquiries effectively and empathetically.
  • Proficient PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) along with attention to detail are vital for this role.
