HR Business Partner, European Operations

Position: HR Business Partner, European Operations

Contract Length: 12 months

Aquent GmbH is seeking a dynamic and skilled HR Generalist to join our team of HR Business Partners in the European region. The HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in this area serve as advisors to a diverse group of managers, supporting a workforce spread across multiple countries. Working independently and providing insightful guidance, HRBPs play a crucial role in fostering an outstanding experience for both customers and employees. The HR Corporate team operates collaboratively across various locations, managing corporate personnel across the region.

In this role, you will engage with various business and HR stakeholders, including:

• HR Business Partners dedicated to executing the HR strategy for their respective business units.

• Centers of expertise, such as Employee Services (responsible for HR administration), Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Acquisition.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advising HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on organizational change initiatives.
  • Overseeing performance management processes, both informal and formal.
  • Addressing complex and sensitive employee matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Conducting development workshops aimed at enhancing managerial effectiveness and capabilities.
  • Providing support on Employee Relations cases, with a strong understanding of employment law being essential.
  • Identifying training needs to enhance both functional and leadership competencies.
  • Assisting Leaders with career discussions and development plans.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in HR, ideally within a multinational context.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Expertise in consulting on organizational policies and building trust through sound advice on personnel matters.
  • Capability to operate as a 'generalist' across various corporate sectors, collaborating with leaders to deliver prompt, effective, and high-quality consultation.
  • Proficiency in another European language is advantageous.
