Wine and Beer Educator

About the Role

C&C Group plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wine and Beer Educator to join our team. As a key member of our training and development team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that capture the imagination of our customers and demonstrate our in-depth understanding of their business and training needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and develop training programs that are fun, engaging, and learner-focused, with a focus on changing behavior and conveying concepts in simple terms.
  • Plan and deliver a range of courses, including Wine Champions, Wine Confidence, Beer Untapped, and Train the Trainer workshops, as well as WSET Level 1, 2, and 3 Awards.
  • Provide advice to the Sales and Channel Marketing teams to develop creative training solutions for on-trade customers, including supporting customer pitches.
  • Write straightforward and relevant training materials using simple language and relevant terms, including content for marketing and digital content for our e-learning platform.
  • Coordinate your own calendar, manage logistical aspects of running workshops, and work with the Customer Training Co-ordinator to ensure courses are well-attended.

About You

  • Highly personable and articulate with the confidence to talk to large groups.
  • Thorough understanding of the UK on-trade, perhaps with a hospitality background.
  • Experience of training others.
  • Confident communicator, via both spoken and written channels.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders at various levels, including client-side.
  • Organised and proactive.
  • Proficient in standard IT programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and generally IT savvy.
  • Working knowledge of e-learning, including LMS and e-learning authoring tools, a bonus.
