Adventure Travel Expert Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adventure Travel Expert to join our team. As an Adventure Travel Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide prompt, accurate, and comprehensive responses to customer enquiries
  2. Utilize our mid-office system to record all customer interactions
  3. Drive conversion through effective sales techniques and processes
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase repeat business
  5. Be proficient in all sales channels, including email, phone, chat, and in-person interactions
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to customers
  7. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  8. Identify areas for improvement in our website and mid-office system to enhance the customer experience
  9. Seek feedback and guidance from colleagues and management to continuously improve performance

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the travel industry, with a focus on adventure and activity travel
  2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and providing exceptional customer service
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  6. Knowledge of the Package Travel Regulations and ATOL

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £21,000 - £27,000, with the potential to earn up to £50,000 in OTE
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility to work from home and in the office
