Ground Control is dedicated to the mission of achieving Carbon Neutrality in the UK by 2050 and is currently seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to become part of our eMobility Infrastructure Team.

Our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Team is expanding and requires a skilled site supervisor to oversee our national construction initiatives, concentrating on site setup, preliminary groundworks, and health and safety management.

Who are we looking for?

We are in search of seasoned Site Supervisors and Project Managers with experience in managing groundworks construction sites. Experience in EV infrastructure is advantageous but not mandatory for this position.

In this role, you will:

Play a crucial role in delivering EV infrastructure for both commercial and residential clients. Issue necessary on-site permits prior to project initiation. Develop Construction Phase Plans for client approval before project commencement. Ensure that reports and documentation are accurately completed and submitted through internal systems. Authorize additional work as required. Manage and uphold the quality of installations. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays.

The ideal candidate

The successful applicant will be expected to travel across a region from London to the Midlands, playing a vital role in facilitating the installation of eMobility Infrastructure, ensuring that all work is completed to client specifications, on schedule, and within budget.

You will need to possess the following qualifications:

A valid clean EU/UK driving license. CSCS Card. Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and mentor others. A commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. A strong emphasis on health and safety, with a proven track record of addressing potential issues. The ability to work independently.
