About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and cognitive needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialist nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Liaise with external service providers, such as social services, to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Minimum 18 months of experience working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience working in the UK or a similar health economy.
  • Post-registration courses completed in relevant topics, such as cognition.
