Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our Enterprise Services team at Bloomberg. As an Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for the full implementation of customers using Bloomberg's Portfolio and Risk solution (PORT) and Bloomberg's new ETF Primary Market solution (BSKT).

About the Role

The Implementation team is responsible for delivering high-quality implementations that meet the needs of our clients. As an Implementation Specialist, you will work closely with our sales teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our sales teams to ensure efficient onboarding of PORT Enterprise clients while meeting their requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, Analytics, and Engineering, to deliver the Bloomberg value proposition to clients
  • Execute implementation plans to ensure maximum satisfaction for new clients
  • Provide detailed product feedback to internal business managers to improve our products

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Buy-Side financial institutions or a Financial Technology Organisation
  • Project management experience in or for buy-side financial institutions
  • Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk, and attribution specialists
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders both externally and internally
  • Experience with fixed income, equities, and derivatives asset classes
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects
  • Track record of meeting deadlines and setting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the ETF Creation/Redemption workflow
  • Experience communicating with Engineering groups on product enhancements and development
  • Aptitude to pick up new technologies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical/complex issues in a simplistic manner to various audiences
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Power BI / Tableau skills
  • CFA Certification
