Portfolio Implementation Specialist

Join Bloomberg's team of experts in portfolio implementation and risk analytics. As a Portfolio Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for the full implementation of customers using Bloomberg's Portfolio and Risk solution (PORT) and Bloomberg's new ETF Primary Market solution (BSKT).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure efficient onboarding of PORT Enterprise clients
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver the Bloomberg value proposition to clients
  • Execute implementation plans to ensure maximum satisfaction for new clients
  • Provide product feedback to internal business managers to improve products

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Buy-Side financial institutions or a Financial Technology Organisation
  • Project management experience in or for buy-side financial institutions
  • Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk and attribution specialists
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience with fixed income, equities and derivatives asset classes
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects
  • Track record of meeting deadlines and setting priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the ETF Creation/Redemption workflow
  • Experience communicating with Engineering groups on product enhancements and development
  • Aptitude to pick up new technologies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical/complex issues to various audiences
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Power BI / Tableau skills
  • CFA Certification
