The Role: Onsite Apprentice IT Engineer

As an Onsite Apprentice IT Engineer, you will be a vital part of the Desktop team, providing technical support to clients onsite and remotely. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining valuable insights into various aspects of IT infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming support requests via phone, email, and online sessions.
  • Log all support interactions accurately and keep clients informed about the status of their issues.
  • Manage incident and request tickets, ensuring timely resolution within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide technical assistance to staff members, troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Collaborate with the Helpdesk Management Team to identify areas for improvement and enhance support processes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, managing their expectations and providing regular updates on ongoing issues.
