Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Tanglewood Care Homes in Grantham. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
  • Provide emotional and spiritual support to residents, promoting their comfort and dignity.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with meal times, serving food and drinks as required, and washing up afterwards.
  • Escort residents on social outings and hospital visits, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Participate in staff and client meetings, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
