About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Tanglewood Care Homes in Grantham. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
  • Provide emotional and spiritual support to residents, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with meal times, serving food and drinks, and washing up as required.
  • Escort residents on social outings and hospital visits, promoting their engagement and participation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Tanglewood Care Homes' policies and procedures.
