As a key member of our luxury cosmetics brand, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing expert makeup applications, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality makeup applications using Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products
- Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases
- Maintain specialized product knowledge and reinforce Pat McGrath application techniques with the team
- Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintaining consistent appointment bookings
- Analyze sales and create strategies with management to consistently meet and exceed goals
- Share knowledge to provide customers with exceptional and personalized service
- Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience
- Manage customer feedback and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales, and retail standards
- Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
- Use natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends and expand knowledge of products and competitors
- Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
- Be confident to lead masterclasses and trainings
- Replenish stock as needed and maintain a clean and attractive counter
- Ability to build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base
- Understand and follow health, safety, and security procedures
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures
- Champion our company culture and values
Requirements
- Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Ability to perform high-quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu
- Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
- Social/digital portfolio of work with significant following preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
- Great communicator with the ability to positively engage with all customers
- Well-informed with excellent product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
- Sales and service expert with the ability to deliver exceptional service
- Flexible and responsive to business needs
- Confident coach and self-driven to upskill and learn
- Able to work retail hours on a 20h part-time basis, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
