Job Summary:

Spire Healthcare is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join their busy theatre department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the perioperative stage.
  • Provide planned care for patients within the operating department, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Act as a Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialties, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, implement, and evaluate care.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse with no restrictions.
  • At least 2 years of experience in orthopaedic scrubbing, with a strong understanding of theatre protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work on rotation in different specialties, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
