As an Orthopaedic Surgical Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Delivering exceptional planned care during the perioperative phase.
  • Assisting in the management and organization of care delivery within the Scrub/Recovery team.
  • Functioning as a Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across various clinical specialties.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assessing patient needs and implementing tailored care plans.
Compensation and Benefits:
The Orthopaedic Surgical Practitioner role comes with an attractive compensation package, including:
  • Annual salary of up to £37,000.
  • £3,000 signing bonus (£1,000 after successful completion of probation, and £1,000 at the end of each year for two years, subject to terms and conditions).

The ideal candidate for the Orthopaedic Surgical Practitioner role will possess:
  • HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner or NMC registration as a Nurse without restrictions.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Orthopaedic Scrubbing.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work across various specialties on a rotational basis.
