About the Role:
A remarkable opportunity has emerged for a skilled Operating Room Nurse to become part of a well-regarded private healthcare facility located in Norwich. This facility boasts advanced medical technologies, providing an excellent environment for a dedicated Operating Room Nurse to integrate into their welcoming surgical team. The team is committed to patient-centered care, ensuring that patients remain at the forefront of their services, and they are seeking a similarly dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join them. The facility offers a diverse range of surgical services, including orthopaedic procedures, joint replacements, plastic surgeries, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the surgical team, you will take on the role of a Scrub Nurse and be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in various surgical operations, including orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery
- Preparing patients for surgical procedures and providing care during their operations
- Reviewing patient records and verifying necessary information
- Ensuring all medical instruments are ready for surgical use
- Monitoring patients' conditions throughout the surgical process
- Performing anaesthetic duties as required
- Supporting patients during their recovery phase post-surgery
- Handing instruments to the surgeon during procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be NMC/HCPC registered with no restrictions on your license
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A minimum of 2 years of UK experience in a scrub role is essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication skills
