Job Title: Contract and Commissioning Manager - Children's Services

Adecco is seeking a skilled Contract and Commissioning Manager to join our client's Integrated Children's Commissioning & Procurement Team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage strategic contracts across the commissioning cycle, ensuring effective mobilisation and performance management.
  • Implement commercial process management, supplier relationship management, and governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Make recommendations to the Croydon Council or Integrated Care Board (ICB) on the strategic allocation of resources to improve outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to drive change and secure improved outcomes in the commissioning programme for Children, Young People, Education, and Health.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in contract management and commissioning in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the commissioning cycle and contract mobilisation processes.
  • Ability to implement effective performance management and commercial process management.
  • Excellent supplier relationship management and governance skills.
  • Familiarity with the Children's Commissioning & Procurement landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Working Arrangements:

This position requires 2 days per week of site presence, with the remaining time spent on remote work.

The contract is temporary, with a duration of 6 months.

The daily rate is £350 to £400 per day, and the contract type is temporary.
