About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Leader in General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership for the assessment and management of general adult inpatients admitted to Hadleigh Unit, PICU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership for the assessment and management of general adult inpatients admitted to Hadleigh Unit, PICU.
  • Lead the flow and capacity team to ensure efficient and effective management of patient flow and bed capacity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce delays in treatment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide medical leadership and expertise to support the development of new services and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register.
  • Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician Status.
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Experience in General Adult Psychiatry and leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
