Regional Account Manager

Sonatype Inc is a software supply chain management company on a mission to revolutionize enterprise software development with open source and AI/ML. We're seeking a highly skilled Regional Account Manager to join our global sales team and contribute to our success.
About the RoleAs a Regional Account Manager, you will work closely with our Account Development reps to uncover new sales opportunities and sell Sonatype's comprehensive suite of Nexus products. You will effectively communicate our value proposition to increase sales and expand existing customer footprints. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering lead generation through target account selling, outbound cold calling, and calling on marketing-generated and inbound leads.
- Managing pipeline including activity for sales opportunities within Salesforce.
- Collaborating with ADRs and presales engineers to build pipeline and close business.
- Working alongside field marketing to deliver events crafted to drive new prospects, advance existing opportunities, and build incremental revenue.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience within DACH accounts.
- Successful experience within the Enterprise Software space.
- Experience building regional account plans.
- Validated experience in developing new relationships that result in new customer acquisition.
- Fluency in German language is a must.
