Cell Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cell Leader to join our team at AMETEK. As a Cell Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and ensuring the smooth operation of the cell.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership to team members to achieve cell objectives and production targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and record production performance and provide advice on areas for improvement.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are complied with.
- Training and Development: Identify and implement training requirements for team members.
- Problem-Solving: Assist with the analysis of production data to identify root causes of problems and implement solutions.
- Communication: Conduct daily stand-up meetings with the cell to ensure SQCDP metrics are met.
- Personnel Development: Undertake regular personnel development reviews with team members.
- Scrap Analysis: Provide support for scrap analysis processes.
- Overtime and Time Attendance: Justify overtime working in line with department budget and Production Manager.
- Cell Environment: Ensure time attendance system is kept up to date and accurate for the Cell.
- Problem-Solving Exercises: Champion cell-contained problem-solving exercises.
- Collaboration: Liaise with Operations management as an integral part of the planning process.
- Delegation: Deputise for the Production Manager when called upon.
In addition to the key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:
- Maintain a Tidy Working Environment: Maintain a tidy working environment.
- Non-Conforming Product: Own non-conforming product to the point of material review board decision.
- Reasonable Requests: Undertake all other reasonable requests made by the role manager or Directors.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and provide support outside of normal tasks to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Take on ad hoc duties, including training, department-associated tasks, and brief secondments to other departments.
The successful candidate will also be expected to:
- Business Management System: Understand and apply the Business Management System to the role.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to Health and Safety requirements at all times.
- Issue Reporting: Bring to the attention of the manager any issues that could potentially affect the business.
- Company Policies: Carry out all duties in line with Company policies and procedures.
