Cell Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cell Leader to join our team at AMETEK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing cell.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve cell objectives and production targets.
- Monitor and record production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and Planner to schedule work and optimize cell performance.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Act as a 5S Champion and Continuous Improvement lead, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings with the cell team to review progress and set priorities.
- Perform personnel development reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Support scrap analysis processes and justify overtime working in line with department budget.
- Maintain accurate time attendance records and ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date.
- Champion cell-contained problem-solving exercises and collaborate with Operations management on planning processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Experience with Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
