About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Services Administrator to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Administration Centre, you will provide a patient-focused service by responding to queries from patients, referrers, and staff in a timely and professional manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Take receipt of patient referrals and input relevant information into the electronic patient record.
- Allocate patient referrals appropriately within services.
- Manage appointments on the electronic patient record system and provide accurate written confirmation to patients.
- Create and maintain databases/spreadsheets, ensuring accurate recording of information.
- Liaise with GPs regarding patient referrals and communicate clearly with clinical colleagues.
- Answer referrer and patient queries, transferring calls as necessary.
- Administer processes to collate satisfaction feedback from patients and referrers.
- Maintain the integrity of patient data on the electronic patient record.

- High level of customer service.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
