Patient Pathway Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our Gastroenterology team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of a new pathway for patients undergoing procedures, providing an alternative to traditional endoscopy.
- Collaborate with the Gastroenterology team to improve patient experience by providing support, information, and reassurance throughout the diagnostic pathway.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and care.
- Utilize strong administrative and communication skills to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of new skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care and support the team's goals.
- Good general education with GCSE or equivalent in English at grade C or above.
- Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient administration systems.
- Experience of patient administration work in an NHS setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively without direct supervision.
- Proactive, takes own initiative, ownership, and accountability.
- Team player with a collegial working style and willingness to share responsibility.
- Flexible, responsive approach to work.
- Committed to a 'Patient/Client First' philosophy.
