Audio Quality & Manufacturing Engineer

CMR & Life Sciences Careers is seeking an experienced Audio Quality & Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in a leading manufacturing sector company. This is a permanent role within a company renowned for its Emmy® award-winning contribution to recording excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control of incoming and outgoing materials and products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Develop skills in CAD/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering for loudspeaker design, manufacturing processes, and acoustic principles.
  • Develop listening skills through detailed customer-focused inspections, audits, and final sign-off for outgoing products.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into a quality database.
  • Ensure audio testing is carried out in production correctly.
  • Maintain measurement & audio test equipment by following operating instructions and maintaining calibration records.
  • Review and update QC procedures and returns policies.
  • Support the Quality Manager to resolve production and supplier-related quality issues.
