Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Manufacturing Support Specialist to join our team at PMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our manufacturing team, ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of our audio products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control inspections of incoming and outgoing materials and products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Develop and maintain skills in CAD, electronics, and mechanical engineering to support loudspeaker design, manufacturing processes, and acoustic principles.
  • Develop listening skills through detailed customer-focused inspections, audits, and final sign-off for outgoing products.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.
  • Ensure that audio testing is carried out correctly in production.
  • Maintain and update measurement and audio test equipment, following operating instructions and maintaining calibration records.
  • Maintain, update, and review QC procedures and returns policies.
  • Support the Quality Manager in resolving production and supplier-related quality issues.
  • Continuously improve quality standards by suggesting improvements and implementing changes.
  • Produce inspection audit reports to identify quality problems within the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Requirements
  • An interest or experience in audio and music technology.
  • Willingness to develop listening skills and excellent hearing.
  • Ability to carefully follow procedures.
  • An exceptional eye for detail.
  • Electronics and audio testing knowledge and principles (audio circuits and components). Experience with audio analyzers is desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and electronic schematics.
  • Experience with inspection measurement tools such as calipers and gauges.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Windows 10, Excel, Word, and MRP (SAP B1) knowledge and experience.
  • Good communication skills and ability to summarize issues accurately.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Driving license and ability to travel between production sites.
  • Self-motivation, ability to take notes, and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Understanding the importance of working as a team.
  • A positive representation of the company.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge of BSEN ISO 9001:2005 Quality Management Systems.
