Audio Quality & Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking an Audio Quality & Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role within a company renowned for its Emmy® award-winning contribution to recording excellence, with a history of working on blockbuster movies and with renowned artists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in quality control of incoming and outgoing materials and products by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Develop skills in CAD/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering for loudspeaker design, manufacturing processes, and acoustic principles.
  • Enhance listening skills through detailed customer-focused inspections, audits, and final sign-off for outgoing products.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into a quality database.
  • Ensure audio testing is carried out correctly in production.
  • Maintain measurement & audio test equipment by following operating instructions and maintaining calibration records.
  • Update and review QC procedures and returns policies.
  • Support the Quality Manager in resolving production and supplier-related quality issues.
