About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient Phlebotomy services to all areas of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Phlebotomy services to patients in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Support the team to deliver high-quality care that improves the health of individuals and the wider community.
  • Develop your competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical and technical knowledge, skills, and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with others involved in patient care.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and demonstrate courage to speak up when concerns arise.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a phlebotomist in a hospital or GP setting.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Previous experience in a clinical environment or medical laboratory.
  • Phlebotomy skills and experience desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
