About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services to patients across our hospital sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide an effective and efficient phlebotomy service to all areas of the hospital, in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • To support the team in delivering care that improves the health of individuals and the wider community.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • To act as an advocate for patient safety and demonstrate courage in speaking up when concerns arise.
  • To contribute to the development of own competence and expertise through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a phlebotomist in a hospital or GP setting.
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Previous experience in a clinical environment/medical laboratory.
  • Good organisational skills and proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
