Phlebotomy Opportunity at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, providing phlebotomy services to various areas of the hospital.

As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining blood samples using various techniques and equipment, while adhering to trust guidelines and policies. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

About the Role
  • GCSE grades A-C or equivalent in English and Maths are required.
  • Knowledge of the Phlebotomy role is essential.
  • Able to follow a full venepuncture-training programme.
  • NHS experience or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
Key Skills and Qualities
  • Computer literate/able to use and enter data on required software.
  • Ability to complete own workload.
  • Evidence of written/computer record keeping skills.
Working Arrangements
  • Must be able to work at either campus, including the QMC, CITY, and Treatment Centre.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • Must be able to cover the full shift pattern within the service.
