Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Leader to join our Engineering team as a Technical Authority. This role will involve leading the delivery of a range of exciting new projects and products, leveraging your expertise in electronics, communications, and computer science.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence the architectural design of complex engineering solutions, drawing from a range of engineering disciplines.
  • Contribute to the generation of technical proposals, bids, and supporting internal review, governance, and sign-off.
  • Lead and influence other members of the Engineering, Project Management, and Commercial teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Guide and mentor engineers to support skills development within the wider team.

Requirements

  • Experienced senior-level engineer, degree qualified in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Experience leading and delivering projects and products.
  • Experience leading teams and an aptitude to lead and influence others.
  • Enthusiasm for working with new emerging technologies, sometimes outside of their immediate skill set, to solve a wide range of challenges using creative and innovative solutions.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Specialist knowledge and experience in Electronic Warfare product experience, Communications and communication protocols, RF design, analysis, or modelling, IP networking and associated standards, DSP techniques and application, Machine Learning, and experience bidding and working within defense or government research.
