The Sterling Choice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Shift Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes
- Provide guidance and training to engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Electrical bias or relevant qualifications
- Apprenticeship qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds)
- FMCG experience, especially with automated machinery
- Ability to electrically fault find and work with minimum supervision
