Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for capturing market share in the public sector and government verticals in the UKI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new installation and service opportunities in the public sector and government vertical.
  • Work closely with the sales community, global accounts teams, and facilitators to nurture and develop opportunities to a successful outcome.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with public sector and government clients, including c-level relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcome-based solutions that meet the needs of public sector and government clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the public sector and government verticals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the public sector and government verticals.
  • Strong understanding of building solutions and digital services in the sector.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and work with teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is desirable.
  • Sound commercial acumen and ability to analyze business data.
