Job Summary:
NHS Lothian is seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinical research nurse to join our Respiratory Research team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a Senior Research Nurse, you will provide senior support to the team and play a key role in delivering several exciting clinical research projects enhancing the clinical care of patients with respiratory disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior support to the Respiratory Research team, including identifying, screening, and recruiting research participants.
- Assist with the care of research participants while they are taking part in the research.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects, including protocol development, data collection, and analysis.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of research projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and research governance policies.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a strong background in clinical research.
- Experience in respiratory care is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
