Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our research team as a Clinical Research Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a range of clinical research studies within the remit, ensuring they are conducted in a safe and effective manner.
  • Maintain clinical, staff, and research governance.
  • Ensure compliance with International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP).
  • Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and patients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in clinical research coordination or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of research governance and ICH-GCP guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
