Job Title: Specialist Nurse - Paediatric Respiratory Service Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Nurse to lead our Paediatric Respiratory Service at University Hospital Wishaw. As a key member of our Integrated Community Children's Nursing Service, you will provide nursing leadership and expertise to support the delivery of high-quality care to children with respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing leadership and expertise to support the delivery of high-quality care to children with respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and standards for the Paediatric Respiratory Service.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide education and training to staff on respiratory care and management.

Requirements:

  • Registered Sick Children's Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
  • Postgraduate expertise within the speciality/area of practice.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.
  • Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery.
  • Excellent team-working/leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
