Role: Receptionist

Location: Seaham Hall

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support to our guests at Seaham Hall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling reservations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly
  • Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the reservations team to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous reception experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft systems, with experience in PMS systems a plus
  • Transportation to and from work
