We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice SHEQ Coordinator to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (SHEQ) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the sustainability of our operations.

The successful candidate will assist our SHEQ team in providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Health and Safety Support: Providing guidance and support to employees on health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
  • Environmental Compliance: Assisting with the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Training and Development: Delivering health and safety training and toolbox talks to employees, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with SHEQ policies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Preparing and presenting reports on SHEQ performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to employees at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with employees across the organization.
  • Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 5 GCSE grades A* to C, including Maths and English, and a full UK driving license.

  • Salary: £16,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.
