We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice SHEQ Coordinator to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (SHEQ) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the success of our business.

The successful candidate will assist the SHEQ team in providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Health and Safety Support: Providing guidance and support to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Assisting in the preparation and review of risk assessments and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Training and Development: Delivering health and safety training and toolbox talks to employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conducting internal premises and site inspections to identify potential hazards and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Vendor Management: Reviewing and auditing vendors to ensure compliance with RSK Group's health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Reporting and Communication: Preparing reports on performance against objectives, targets, and SHEQ performance, and supporting associated communications.
  • Initiative Implementation: Assisting in the implementation of Group SHEQ initiatives and campaigns to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications: A minimum of 5 GCSE grades A* to C, including Maths and English.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is required.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Team Player: A team player with a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
