About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Junior Reinsurance Broker to join our Financial Lines team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end Reinsurance placement process, working closely with various company functions and the management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Account Executive team in placing and servicing Facultative Reinsurance
  • Process placements and liaise with offshore teams to ensure invoices are prepared and issued on time
  • Generate and review contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements, invoices, and evidence of cover
  • Resolve queries received from clients and reinsurers, liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary
  • Collect and analyze data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations
  • Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies

Requirements

  • Prior experience in insurance and/or reinsurance brokerage, ideally in the Financial Lines sector
  • Excellent data analysis and processing skills, with attention to detail
  • Great communication and teamworking skills, with knowledge of other languages (Italian, Greek, Spanish) a plus
  • Data analysis abilities and ability to read a balance sheet
  • Good level of IT competency, including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Experience of working in a client-facing environment
  • Customer orientation, result orientation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to
