About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing support to our clients and employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations cases, including complex disciplinaries and grievances
- Lead on absence management cases and develop effective solutions
- Support restructures and consultations, ensuring a smooth transition for employees
- Visit sites and work with line managers to identify employee issues and develop solutions
- Update and amend contracts as needed
- Develop and implement policies to support employee well-being
- Assist the HR Manager with recruitment and talent management initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and databases
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Up-to-date employment law knowledge and a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent
- Experience in handling long-term sickness and absence cases, as well as working with managers to tackle absence problems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
